THE WIZARD OF OZ (1939): MGM handbill (mini-poster), issued circa 1975, NM, size 8.5 x 11 inches, blue toned, slick paper stock. Shows the five main cast members, Haley, Bolger, Garland, Morgan, and Lahr, sitting on top of an oversized copy of the Oz book by L. Frank Baum. The Date/Time/Place/Admission section at the bottom is unmarked, which is rare. (2 copies available) See handbill  $7.50

THE WIZARD OF OZ Paperback Book adapted by Horace J. Elias from the MGM movie, original story by L. Frank Baum (credited as "Frank L. Baum" on the cover!). NM-, PB, 1976, Harper & Row, 1st Barnes & Noble Edition, O/P, 96 pages. Half of the book is B&W stills from the 1939 classic starring Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, Jack Haley, and Frank Morgan. The text is a simplified version of the screenplay. FANTASY FILM SERIES FIRST DAY COVER SET: Set of 4 First Day Covers for the 50th Anniversary of Talking Pictures commemorative U.S. stamp, cancelled in Hollywood on October 6, 1977, #1716 or #1912 of 3000, NM. Each envelope has a B&W cachet of either Dracula, Frankenstein, King Kong, or THE WOLF MAN, around each of these images are B&W scenes from other classic Horror and Fantasy films from 1932 to 1974. The back of the FDC shows the serial number and lists the films shown on the front of the cover. With the set of 4 covers, you also get a roughly 3.5 x 6.5 inch booklet, introduced by Ray Harryhausen, that talks about each cover and shows B&W stills from Horror and Fantasy films.
