Great Site. I am a drummer with 2 pipe bands in the Chicago area. Chicago Caledinian and Highland Guard Fire and Police of Northern Illinois. I belong to Gurnee fire L-3598. I was wondering if I can get the drum score to the fireman's march. It is a great tune. Look forward to hearing from you.

Great site, I just started playing my full set of pipes, what a difference between that and the practice chanter. I am a Lieutenant with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and we are trying to start our own Pipe and Drum Corp. What is the tune that plays after the opening of the FDNY tribute? Great tune, this is a great site! Keep up the good work!

Thank you for doing the best you guys could do. Believe it or not, but you guys have done more than you should ever do. You guys have inspired me, and i know how your family feels just knowing that something bad could happen to you every time you go to work.( my dad is a fire fighter). All i have to say is keep up the good work. And its when you think you have had enough that you have just begun. FOOTPRINTS IN THE SANDS OF TIME ARE NOT MADE BY SITTING DOWN. Thanks DAD!

I love your website. My mother just asked me tonight if I knew why bagpipes were played at funerals of policemen and firemen, and I did search and it brought me to this wonderful site. Thank you so much!

Excellent Website.
Pittsburgh Firefighters Local #1 started a band and we are slowly growing.Looking for ideas from other department on the best way to proceed. One of biggest problems is band practice times because our department has four different lines. A B C & D. How do you arrange your practices.

Great musical pages! Love the bagpipes and would love to learn eventually.
Actually, I was looking to get some earthquake instruments installed in OCFA fire stations. We sent a letter to Chief Prather a couple years ago but only received a half-hearted verbal "nah" from someone via telephone. We have instrumented 10 of the 12 independent fire depts in Orange Co. plus many LA Co. and LA City Fire stations, as well as Ventura Co., S.B. Co. and Riverside Co. FS's, and were wondering if you guys might change your minds? We need to install more strong-motion equipment in Orange Co. this year. We need about 22" square under a workbench or in a closet with access to 110-v and tel.
If someone could put in a good word with top management, it would be appreciated. Our funding runs out Dec. 31, 2001 for installation (FEMA-funded through OES).
