I wanted to be able to lock my GPS onto my bike during pit stops, rather than having to disconnect everything and bring it with me. I got the Touratech locking handlebar mount for the Garmin StreetPilot III, and a Stem Stand. Since the FJR's handlebars are not conducive to mounting stuff, I had to make a slight modification.

First I marked holes on the bottom plate of the Touratech mount and on the StemStand:

After drilling the holes, I bolted the two pieces together and reassembled the Touratech:
