Flotilla 4-10 Surface Operations

Air and water safety patrols, regatta patrols, search and rescue, and Coast Guard support missions are part of the Operations mission. As a new member you could be trained to qualify as Coxswain,  Boat Crew, Air Observer, Communications Watchstanders and work with the Coast Guard as part of TEAM COAST GUARD support.

All boating season long you will see members of Flotilla 4-10 on the waters around the area served by Coast Guard Station New Orleans. Each vessel carries trained Auxiliarists and the vessel is marked by the signed shown above.

 

Auxiliary Patrol Ensign

Each vessel "under orders" is considered a vessel of the United States Coast Guard and flies this distinctive ensign (flag).
