About Me

Welcome! My name is Komal. I was born on May 15, 1988, and have spent my whole life in southern California (and now attend a local college). I'm a first generation Pakistani-American. In my spare time I like to play video games, go on the Internet, read, write, listen to (and try to sing) music, and hang out with friends (I do a lot of those things even if I don't have a lot of free time ^^;). I'm a Taurus, and my birthstone is the emerald. Career-wise, I'm thinking of getting into the fields of psychology and/or writing (I'm an Undeclared major right now).

I'm pretty ambitious, and once I stop procrastinating and get working I work hard. I ask lots of questions, and am somewhat of a control-freak and a perfectionist. I like to daydream and analyze (over-think things in general, really). Finally, I'm somewhat bipolar when it comes to expressing myself: in public and among people I don't know so well I'm usually really quiet, but when I'm online and/or talking to people I feel close to I have a tendency to chatter on and on :D

About Hideaway

This is my ninth site, and was created on September 14, 2006 to serve as a bridge between all my sites. When I say ninth site, I actually had five running a few years ago, but the server they were on was deleted, so it's technically my fourth. Anyways, obviously, the theme is Pokemon - animated gifs mounted over a town map. The town in question is Lavaridge Town, which can be found in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. As it's been a while since I've played the game, I don't know if the featured Pokemon are actually in the games themselves, but oh well ^^;. Credit for the pictures goes to The Video Game Atlas and Pokemonaholic.

Obviously, if you've reached this page you have an idea of how to navigate ^_^. Simply hover your cursor over a sprite until the info pops up. The following work right now:
