As you can see, both Steve and I got in on the great trops on the 12th of October. It started out here on the evening of the 11th with most of the Dodge City and Amarillo stations in, then went down to the Permian Basin of Texas, over to east Texas, finally winding up in New Orleans. When the front coming through passed, the trops were over and done with. Great to get something in October for a change!

From the Editor
Thanks for the great support this month! So good to see so many reporters for the November issue.
Be sure to check out the Leonids meteor shower, which will peak around the 18th. Hopefully it’ll be the meteor storm that we’ve been hoping it would be the last few years. And be sure to watch for the unexpected Es opening….occasionally November brings a good one.
     See y’all next month!
