• Head Coach of first women's track club in Arizona - Valley of the Sun Track Club 1962-1965
• Founder and Head Coach Phoenix Track Club from 1965-1974.
• Head Women's Coach of the United States National Track and Field Team in the United States vs the Soviet Union June 1971 - Berkeley, California.
• Organized and Director of the first national training camp for junior athletes - Los Alamos, New Mexico 1971
• Founder  and director of the Arizona Track Camp at Embry Riddle University - Prescott,  Arizona, 1976-1986

Employment History

	2nd Lieutenant Artillery	September 1955 to August 1957
	United States Army  - Graduated from ROTC at Arizona State University as a 2nd Lieutenant artillery. Took basic training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and  assigned to 13th Artillery Battery, 24th Division at Munsuni in the Republic of South Korea as a motor officer, aerial and forward observer with the infantry. Served 16 month in Korea.  Completed tour of duty at Fort Ord, California, and was discharged honorably as a 1st Lieutenant. Served 8 additional years in the National Guard.
	Classroom teacher	September 1959 to December 1975
	Creighton School District, Phoenix, AZ - Taught 7th grade language arts and American History
	Assistant Women' s Track Coach	January 1977 to May 1977
	Phoenix College, Phoenix, AZ - Coached various running events including the sprints, hurdles, and distance events.
	Head Women's Cross Country and Track Coach	September 1977 to May 1995
	Phoenix College, Phoenix, AZ - Acted as the administrator and head coach for the women's cross country and track programs at Phoenix College including budgeting, recruiting, organizing home meets, and coaching various events in track and field.
	Sport's Information Director	September 1992 to May 1994
	Phoenix College, Phoenix, AZ - Preparing weekly press releases for local media,  kept records on all sports, maintained archive of sports information,  and prepared information publication on each sport.

	NJCAA Region One, Phoenix, AZ - Organizing meet schedules, collecting meet results, posting results on web site, and sending to various media sources, publishing meet results, standings, and all conference winners.

• NJCAA  National Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year, Chicago, IL, November 1985 Women's team won the National Cross Country Championship
• 8 time conference champions in cross country in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference
• Coached 40 All Americans in community college competition at the NJCAA level.
• Coached top athletes:  Lois Drinkwanter and Jan Glotzer 1968 Olympic team, Mavis Laing national record holder at 400 meters, National Champions:  Drinkwater, Glotzer, Laing, Trina Leopold, Sandy Marquez, Carla Jackson, Maria Tillman, Becky Allen
• Lisa Weidenbach, winner of Boston Marathon, Chicago Marathon (2), and Tokyo Marathon, Lynn Nelson, 1988 Olympic team in the 10,000 meters.
