Join us in helping maintain the high quality of life we enjoy in the Fontainebleau neighborhood. Membership in the Fontainebleau Improvement Association is open to everyone interested in urban issues, community development, and protecting the residential character of New Orleans neighborhoods.

What does the Fontainebleau
Improvement Association do?

FIA sponsors or participates in several programs, including:

  • a security patrol

  • quarterly programs

  • a newsletter

  • an annual block party

  • a beautification program

  • a "meet me at home" program

  • NOPD’s Neighborhood Watch program

  • Parkway Partners “Save Our Trees” program

  • the Carrollton Preservation Alliance

. . . and more. That’s quite a lot in return for a yearly membership fee of only $20 per household.

Your FIA membership does more than demonstrate your commitment to neighborhood values; it also ensures that you will be kept informed of area issues and concerns;, and, that your voice will be heard in the effort to maintain the residential character of New Orleans neighborhoods.
