Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are there any income restrictions?
A: No. Anyone that is in need of food is welcome to pick up from any site. There are no qualifications, no forms, no income guidelines, and no limits on how many times you visit the sites.

Q: Why aren't children allowed at some sites?
A: It varies. Some sites are not very large, and all of the space is needed for adults to pick up. Some site have such a large number of people that we don't want children to be knocked down or run over. And other sites may have had problems in the past and don't have the staff to handle all the children. We regret any inconvenience, but this is a necessity in some cases.

Q: Do you need any volunteers?
A: We are not in need of volunteers at this time. However, some sites need volunteers from time to time. Contact the individual site to inquire.

Q: Who can donate food?
A: If you are a store that is interested in donating goods to the FoodNet program, please contact us via our email address.

Q: Are you open on holidays?
A: It depends on the site. No FoodNet site is ever open on Christmas Day. There are occasional day or time changes due to funerals, elections, or holidays. We will try to have updates on the sites page if closings are known in advance.
