Dear Linda and Evan- What a wonderful way to share your family's activities. I am still stuck doing our yearly Christmas letter. When I read that your son, Josh, is living in Camarillo, I had to tell you that's where my husband and I purchased our first home in 1981, when it was just beginning to grow a little. My husband had his first pharmacy job at Burt's Pharmacy in Newbury Park and I taught a k-1 in Westlake Village, where our son was born in 1978. What a small world it is!! You have such a beautiful and talented group of children. You are very blessed. I will be praying for steady hands and wise physicians as you prepare for your surgery Linda, as well as a full and quick recovery. Joanna and I will be driving my oldest daughter to LA on the 27th to board her plane to Cancun, Mexico, where she will meet her boyfriend and his family for a couple of weeks there and Mexico City. Then we are driving up to Sonora to visit our newlyweds and their brand new home. I will see you when you return to see Melvin and I will make sure he either e-mails you or writes to you while you are recovering. Love to you both-CC
Hi Evan & Linda, We wish you a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. We'll be praying for you, Linda, on the 30th. We're praying for a successful surgery and a healing and a speedy recovery. Love, Chuck & Cheryl

Looks like you all share a good sense of humor as well. Thanks for sharing. Christmas Blessings, Marian Drops

My relationship with him as gotten strong through the wonderful experience of "Wallk to Emmaus" in Nov. hi footes... merry christmas!
Dear Linda, Evan and family: Thank you for thinking of us this holiday season. We have much to be thankful for (I ended the sentence with a preposition. My wife, the English major will be shocked). Darcy will soon add to our clan with another grandchild I can spoil. Isabella already has a better wardrobe than Julie or myself. Neither of us seem to be able to control ourselves when we see something cute for the baby. Orin is going to visit his mother after Christmas but we are hoping to have him for a day or two prior to that. Of course, you know that Kirsten is getting married in March. I certainly hope we can see you there. Love, Mike and Julie
Hey, we just read through your pages and looked at the pics. You guys are so amazing! We could never think of doing something like this! It was fun to hear from everyone, see Josh's pics (Chris would love the chairs too, Linda -- must be a guy thing),and just catch up on you all. Sounds like you've had a fun year, and everyone looks fantastic!!! Love you guys a lot! Have a terrific Christmas!
Hey you guys!!! We miss being at church every Sunday. There's a Calvary Chapel up here but Brian and I haven't been able to go. Brian was working 2 jobs until recently and i've been trying to find employment so there hasn't been much time. Brian thanks you Evan, for being such a kind person. Between you and Tom Wells, he has been seriously looking into the Christian beliefs. He talks about baptism, and converting, and so on :) I tell him to take his time and make sure he understands everything and it's what he really wants to do. Everything has been going okay here :) Brian is supposed to go into the navy, come mid Feb or so. They offered him some really good deals and he just has to lose 28 or so pounds. Wish him luck! He's really excited about it. I think it will be really good for him to get out of his parents control and, as much as I hate to say it, the 'majority' of their life. We don't need the control!! Like you said! Well, I don't mean to ramble on, just thought I would drop a hello by all of you and wish you, as well, Merry Christmas. Thank you again :) Beth and Brian... P.S. could you send me Kara's email addy?? I'd love to email her and talk to her, i'm not sure she even knows that I've married Brian :) Bmyonlycowboy@aol.com
Wow, what a great family you have there. I really enjoyed going through all the pictures. Merry Christmas!
Great job -- I always look forward to seeing your e-card!
What a great looking family! It is a joy to be "related" to you in Christ, not to mention the fact that my family is a little nutty too (we posed inside a pineapple in Hawaii)!
Hi Footes - Thanks for the update on your family - it's amazing how your kids are all grown up and living their own lives. But so is mine - so I guess that happens. I'm still working on the book - we signed our contract with Zondervan in September and have to have a finished manuscript to them by April. I bought a much needed new computer with my first royalty check (after I made a copy of the check and framed it!!). Our web site is up and running. It still needs some fine tuning and some additions, but we're excited. My friend Deborah designed it as part of her school project at Grossmont. You can check it out at www.hopecentral.us. I can't believe you've been at PCC for 25 years. That was nice of the church to send you to Hawaii - one of my favorite places. I will be praying for you on the 30th, Linda. I'm sorry to hear you're having problems again. Thanks, again, for the newsy update. God Bless and Merry Christmas!! Sue
THANK YOU for this wonderful card and for being a part of our lives these many years. Tom was so very blessed to be with you all in 03 and I won't even talk about my not being able to be there! :) I am praying for your surgery on Dec. 30th. With lots of love Malinda
Once again I thoroughly enjoyed traveling through your year. It's always a delight! Our love and best wishes to you all for a very Merry Christmas. Love, Barbara and Jerry

Merry Christmas to you and your family. with love, Sally

As usual, I'm so impressed with the Foote family. It is good to see the positive steps that the young adults have made. Just know that my prayers are always with each and every one of you. Linda, you are strong and will do just fine. Continue to walk with God.
Dear Footes, I always look so forward to your Christmas Website. It's wonderful! I'm dying to know where Josh is teaching. I grew up in Camarillo. My mom still lives there. I went to Pleasant Valley Elementary, Los Altos Jr. High, and Camarillo H.S. I think the other Jr. High was Monte Vista, or something like that. Please let me know. We'll be praying for you, Linda. Please keep us posted. Merry Christmas, Love, Patty and Wayne
As always a joy to read through in pictures and words the Foote Family life for the year. We who know you are so blessed. Prayers for a wonderful holiday, and quick healing from the upcoming surgery. Putting you always in His loving care. Roberta

I look forward to this wonderful "present" you give to all of us each year. Your family is a joy and inspiration on so many fronts. Thank you for including me. My prayers to all of you during this special time in your lives.

It is always great to hear about you and the family. My prayers and others will be with Linda and the family as you enter His uncharted waters. You are all such a blessing to all who are around you and who know you. I had a great time this month visiting my son Chris in Australia. It is a beautiful country, but I am glad to be back home. My son went on to Fiji and will be my Christmas present, arriving December 23. Love and Prayers, Always, Barbie
Man that elf guy is quick. I figured I'd be the first one to post I the guestbook. But I suppose he's got the inside track. Great page as always. I count it a privlege to know the Footes, and count them among my friends. Blessings to you all,
This site is so handy for my yearly reports to Santa regarding the Foote Family!
