THE UNVARNISHED TRUTH

While most—if not
all—of the Protestant denominations came into existence because of some
Biblical truth that had been perverted by apostate churches of Christ [while
they were evolving into the Catholic Church], it is probably the case that no
biblical truth has escaped being perverted by one Protestant group or
another. Those that do not err on the
purpose of water baptism—for example—are wrong on its form, and most of those
who understand its form, misconstrue its design. As a result of this state of affairs, one cannot write or preach
the truth on any Bible subject without implicitly exposing error. Yet, some perversions of truth have had such
a widespread negative impact that they need to be dealt with explicitly. The aim of “The Unvarnished
Truth” will be to strip away denominational “varnish” to reveal
the beauty of God’s truth beneath. I am
willing to hear from any and all who disagree with the conclusions I have drawn
from the Scriptures I have studied. If
