Introduction to ExifView
Image files (Jpeg or Tiff) created by most digital cameras
contain vital information about the picture like shutter speed, aperture, ISO
speed etc. These information is
embedded using Exif format. Specially designed software can be used to view
these information to reveal how the picture was taken given the original file
is not altered. ExifView provides an easiest way to view these Exif info
while you’re browsing files using Windows Explorer. When you check the file
properties in Explorer, a new property page (see below) will show up if the
file contains Exif information:
Download and Install
Copy ExifView.dll to Windows\system for Win95/98 or Winnt\system32 for Windows NT/2000. Then run following command in that directory: regsvr32.exe
ExifView.Dll And you're done! After ExifView installed, if you installed some new image editing software that changed Jpeg or Tiff file handling settings, ExifView property page may no longer be displayed. In this case, simply re-register the DLL again using above command. To uninstall, run following command at above directory: regsvr32.exe
/u ExifView.Dll Then reboot. After reboot delete the ExifView.Dll file if
you wish. Link
