FPYC Wildcats Academy Takes Champion and Finalist Spots in McSoccerFest 2008....
On Sunday, June 22, nine Wildcats Academy members journeyed to Ellicott City, MD, for the annual "Big Mac" Fest. In the morning, FPYC Wildcats Academy Team 2 brought home gold medals after taking the Champion spot in Division 37 of the McSoccerFest, undefeated in 4 matches and leaving it all on the field. Later that afternoon, in humid Sunday afternoon heat, Team 1 took its flight in a mixed U11/12 Division 39, undefeated in preliminary matches, then fell in the final moments of the finals for a very tough but hard-played 2-3 loss, taking home silver for the finalist spot. Way to go, Wildcats!!! ... McSoccerFest 4v4...
