BELLEVUE EAST GERMAN COURSE DESCRIPTIONS AND ESSENTIAL OBJECTIVES
Bellevue adopted Komm Mit! for German I through III. We will use book 1 for German I and book 2 for German 2 and 3. German IV and German V are combined, using Vail and Spark's German in Review as a grammar review, Dreimal Deutsch as a cultural reader, and literature and other units from a variety of sources.
For German I, II, and III, the book also has web activities. Students may go to the Holt site and go to World Languages and then German and then the chapter and do activities for each chapter. These activities are great reinforcement for classroom learning.
Our 5 goals are based on the national foreign language standards and the Nebraska frameworks: communication, culture, connections, comparisons, and communities.
