Our new partner school is Salier-Gymnasium in Waiblingen, a suburb of Stuttgart. We made our first visit in June, 2004. They were in Bellevue from October 29-November 12, 2004. They visited East again in October 2006 and 208 and we visited them in the summer of 2007 and 2009. For the pictures of their visit to East in 2006, click here. Our last partner was the Gymnasium in Harsewinkel, a small town a few kilometers from Gütersloh in Nordrhein-Westfalen. We had our first exchange in the summer of 1999, when we visited them. The German students visited Bellevue East in the spring, from March 9 to March 29. We visited them in June, 2002.
Our first partner school was the Gesamtschule Willy Brandt in Magdeburg. We had exchanges with them in 1993 and 1995. A group of students travelled to Germany with Frau Branson in 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2004 under the auspices of ISE.
The next trip is planned for the summer of 2010. Students must have completed at least German II to be eligible--German III or IV is even better. Student must be approved by Frau Branson.
