As you may have noticed, our official party mascot is the Skunk Ape. You are probably asking yourself "What the heck is a Skunk Ape?" Well, let me tell you! A "Skunk Ape" is a mysterious creature which haunts the swamps and forests of the Southeastern United States. For years, sightings of the "Skunk Ape" have terrified locals and led many to dedicate their lives to finding this creature. Is it a Gorilla? Is it Bigfoot? Is it a Ghost? The missing link perhaps? No one knows. Many don't want to know. So, why choose this beast as our mascot? Simple. It is the impact that this creature has made that drew us to choose him. The Skunk Ape, so called because of its powerful musk, has created world-wide curiosity. This is very impressive considering the elusive nature of this animal. Many question whether it really exists, but whether it does or doesn't, it's popularity is here to stay.
