In 2005 we went to Bend.
We took our 2004 vacation in Southwestern Colorado.
Our late vacation in 2003 found us going to the Mogollon Rim.
Our later vacation in 2002 found us going to Gold Rush Country and then the Sacramento River Delta.
A spring vacation for 2002 took us to Olympic National Park in Washington.
The main summer vacation for 2001 took us to Mammoth Lakes and Across Nevada on US 50.
We took a rare spring vacation to the Oregon Coast this year.
The year 2000 saw us going north to Idaho and Montana to get away from the hot weather. Unfortunately, we brought the heat north with us.
Our last vacation of the 90's took us to Point Reyes and other nearby locations.
The extended family (my mother-in-law sponsored and my sister-in-law accompanied) us on a cruise to Alaska. We then took day trips to Victoria, Mount Rainier and Mount Saint Helens.
Vacation was late in 1997. It was a backpacking trip into the Toiyabe range in central Nevada. It was autumn at that altitude, meaning days in the 70's and nights in the high 40's-low 50's.

1996 found us going to the National Youth Arab championships where Beth had qualified to ride. On the way back from the show, we stopped in and around Santa Fe and used Gallup as a base to explore the Rez.

1995 found us in a moving vacation. That is, we moved from site to site. We hit the Rogue River section of Southern Oregon and Redwoon and Lassen Volcanic National Parks in Northern California.

In July of 1994 we went to Dinosaur National Monument for a raft trip. From there, we continued to camp at Dead Horse State Park, which served as a base for explorations into Canyonlands and Arches National Parks as well.
In July of 1993 we camped in Sequoia National Park, using it as a base to explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Then we moved on to Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park. This picture shows Yosemite Valley.
In July of 1992 we camped in Bryce Canyon National Park. There is plenty to see in Bryce, but it also serves as a base for exploration of the Pansagut plateau.
