THE CALICO RAINBOW

Dear Freya,
When I heard the sad news, it started raining in my heart.
I thought the sun would never shine again.
I just moped around the house until I fell asleep.

In my dream, the rain stopped, and I looked out the window
and saw the sun shining.
I wondered how that could be, but I looked up into the sky,
and lo and behold,

there was the most beautiful rainbow I'd ever seen.
It was unlike any other, because it was a Calico Rainbow.

I will always love and miss you, Freya,
but I now know that you are safe and well.
Most likely you and your beloved Henry have already
started a Rainbow Bridge chapter of the Back Fence Cat Club.

Oh Freya, I will miss mew so much. Mew were always a sweet and kind and fun furriend,
and a great inspurration to me. Mew were a blessing to many, many kitties,
as mew were to me. When I think of Fun and Flamenco and Fishies and Food ...
I will always think of mew

I cried so much to lose mew. I send purrs and luff bumpies to your dear meowmie,
and special liddle whispurrs to mew. Mew will know. Don't furget to flutter your angel wings efury day, so your meowmie can feel it in her heart.
We will nefur furget mew .. and we will see mew again.

Freya was one in a million -full of fun and adventure,
she was ingenious and spirited, all in all a joy to know.
I know she didn't start the BFCC, but I hope she'll continue it at the Rainbow Bridge.
