The most fun allowed on bicycles! You're invited, GO!

Before our first one, 1995. I took the battery out of my truck when we got there and strapped it on the back. The front headlight was from a Fiat. I had removed the rear cranks and had nuts welded to the pedals so Meredith would have foot rest. She ended up having to walk up a couple hills, ahh the good ole days...(when she could walk that is)

In 1996 we had a big group from the squadron go. We bought a better tandem for that, still have it too.
In 1999, I rode on that tandem with my niece Meaghan. Boy was Meredith jealous! That's why the next year I surprised her by renting a trailer. Here are photos of Midnight Madness 2001 I rented a different one the next year, 2002. By 2003 I'd gotten tired of renting and so you get the bike trailer. We used that the next two years 2003 and 2004. It's gotten too hard getting her in and out of the trailer, so for 2005 I made a tricycle with a pivoting bucket seat (from an electric scooter). Much easier loading and unloading her, she's more comfortable, and as a bonus the whole rig is much lighter. Here are photos of the tricycle. A few months later I broke it during Cycle Eastlake then I fixed it for Midnight Madness and broke it again right before the big ride, so back to the trusty trailer for 2006. For 2007, I welded together a tandem tricyle so Bobby could not only go along for the ride, but also help with the pedaling. Here's the tandem tricycle, and photos from the 2007 ride.
In early 2008, the seat fell off JohnyFive on the way to a silent ride for Jesus, and was run over and flattened. Good thing the trusty trailer was in the garage! Here are photos from 2008
