Not a blog! My postings are too erratic for that. Not an authority on anything! Just a variety of things that interest me and, I hope, you too!
The band's next concert dates are Sunday, April 27th and again on Wednesday, April 30th. This year we are doing concerts with themes and the first one, celebrating Halloween, was a pretty exciting program. and the following ones were holiday music and a salute to Arizona's Grand Canyon. This next one remembers the homefront during World War Two. If you are in the neighborhood, we'd love to have you attend. Our concerts are always FREE.
A few years ago I began knitting again after a 25 year hiatus and I think I'm trying to make up for .all those "wasted" evenings when I watched TV without doing something with my hands. Besides kinitting for myself I have 3 grandkids to knit for as well as their parents and I also make a variety of things for various charities. Take a look at my better creations, some of which have actually won blue ribbons at the Arizona State Fair!
The kitty kids are doing just fine at approximately 13 years of age although they are slowing down a bit . Nicky had to have a radioactive iodine treament last year for hyper-thyroidism but he's doing just fine now.
