Star Wars Mock Ups

Production Mock Ups are items used for packaging test runs.  These can be found with prototype or production figures.  In addition, Production Mock Ups are used to test the form and fit of the packaging process.  These can be identified by the miscellaneous print on the packaging.  You may also see these referred to as engineering pilots.

Pre-Production Mock Ups are items used in the packaging design stage.  These items can be found with or without figures.  Modern versions can be found with hand-made packaging.  In addition, they are also used for presentation, photography and Toy Fair purposes.
