FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is "The Gamemaster's Guild"? The Gamemaster's Guildis your local source for all of your gaming needs in North Okaloosa County. We are located at 386 North Main Street in the downtown area of Crestview, Florida. If you're looking for role-playing merchandise and collectible card games such as Magic: The Gathering, World of Warcraft, and Bleach, look no further! Also, if you're looking for a certain RPG or another related item, and we don't have it, we'll do our very BEST to get it! The Gamemaster's Guild also offers you The Player's Dungeon: a unique place to play your favorite games in a friendly environment.
Why are you only open during a short amount of time? David and Valerie both have real daytime jobs. Their real jobs help in making The Gamemaster's Guild a reality. However, once The Gamemaster's Guild becomes established enough to support itself, David or Valerie might be able to either drop one of their jobs, or hire an extra trustworthy person to help open The Gamemaster's Guild earlier.
Why don't you hold Magic: The Gathering tournaments every week? We enjoy tournaments just as much as anyone. However, it would seem most people enjoy casual play. Plus, casual play is FREE. Tournaments cost money to cover prizes. We will attempt to hold at least one tournament each month, but even that is not written in stone. Check the Tournament Schedule page to see when the next one will be held. We will try to announce tournaments at least two weeks in advance.
Do you buy Magic: The Gathering card collections? At this time, the store is not buying cards of any kind.
Do you trade Magic: The Gathering cards? Trading is done on a case-by-case basis, and will only be done by David. Once completed, all trades are final. Keep in mind, PAYING customers will always come first. If David is in the middle of trading with you, and another customer has a question or needs assistance, David will have to pause trading to help the other customer. Money helps in keeping The Gamemaster's Guild in business... not trading.
Do you sell Magic: The Gathering singles? You bet we do! We have several boxes to look through. Most common cards are 10¢ each, and most uncommon cards are 25¢ each (unless otherwise marked or posted). Rare cards range in various prices.
Do you sell sports cards? No, and we have no plans of selling sports cards anytime in the future. We mainly deal with collectible card games, role-playing games and accessories, and other RPG and Sci-Fi collectible merchandise.
There is a product I'm looking for, but you don't have it. Can you order it? Just let us know what the item is. If it's available through one of our distributors, then we can most likely order it. We usually perform our ordering on one of the days we are closed. However, please only ask us to order something if you are serious about buying it. If it is an expensive item or multiple items, we may have to ask for a down-payment.
Are you hiring? I would love to work at The Gamemaster's Guild! We know MANY people would love to work at a gaming store. David knows this, since it has always been one of HIS dreams, as well. Now, he has his own store! Unfortunately, The Gamemaster's Guild is not established enough to even consider hiring an extra person. So, at this time, no. We are not hiring. If this ever changes, we will let you know.
I bought an item, and I'm not satisfied with it. What is your return policy? Most sales are final due to the nature of our products. If you are wondering about the return policy of a particular factory-sealed item, ask us in person at the time you purchase it.
There is a problem with this website, or there is a broken link. Who do I contact to fix it? If you are having problems accessing certain parts of this website, contact the webmaster at bulldogcountry00@cox.net. David and Valerie do not manage this website, but you can let them know as well, and they can pass the problem along to the webmaster. Whenever the website is updated, all pages are usually tested to ensure all information is correct and all links are working. However, the webmaster is human, too. :) |
