2006 Pontiac GTO

I bought this GTO new in September of '06.

It has the 400HP LS2 6.0 liter motor, 6 speed manual transmission, and 18" wheels.

I had 2000 miles on the car when I took it out to Speedworld.

The best ET it has run is a 14.05 @ 103 MPH.

Launching the car is tricky because the IRS rear suspension is prone to terrible wheel hop.  I'm sure the car can run in the 13's if a launch technique is perfected and the wheel hop kept to a minimum.

I installed a Hurst shifter to replace the factory shifter.  This was a nice upgrade.

I replaced the factory mufflers with a set of Spintech mufflers.  The exhaust note is great with the Spintechs.
