Anderson Truck Trail is an abandoned jeep next El Capitan Reservoir which has turned into a great single track. It is an up and back with a fairly constant climb on the way up (a bit of a grind). At the top there a couple of optional loops you can take before taking the fast moderately technical downhill.

Directions

Take Interstate 8 East to the Harbison Canyon Exit. Go straight onto Alpine Boulevard. Continue for about half a mile, make the first left turn on Peutz Valley Road.  Park under the freeway overpass.  We will ride up Peutz Valley Road about 1/2 mile to the trailhead (on the left).
