The Laguna Loop is a very scenic intermediate ride.  There is a trial around the lake (mostly dry) and several single tracks leading up out of the valley.

Directions

Take I-8 east past Pine Valley and exit at Sunrise Highway.  Turn left (north) and drive toward the top of Mt Laguna. Drive 8.4 miles and turn left on the paved road with a sign for Wooded Hills Campground (The sign is easy to miss.  If you pass any buildings you have gone too far). Drive another .03 mile and park in small parking area on the left.  (Thomas Bros 430-B5)
