__ (Adventure Pass required for parking) ^^ Noble Canyon is one of the most advanced and technically challenging rides in San Diego County. The uphill is steep and strenuous. The downhill offers lots of stepped rocks, drop offs and hairpin turns. You should be an advanced or aggressive intermediate rider to do this ride. Directions Up & Back - Meet at the lower trailhead. Take I-8 east to the Pine Valley Road exit and turn left. Drive .3 miles to Old Hwy 80 and turn left. Drive 1.2 miles to Pine Creek Road and turn right (sharp hairpin turn just past bridge). Drive 1.6 miles and turn right into the "Cleveland National Forest - Trailhead - Noble Canyon" parking area (if you get to the bridge you have gone too far). (Thomas Guide 1237-C3) Shuttle - Meet at the same trailhead as in the Up & Back. We will drop half of the vehicles at the lower trailhead. Please leave enough empty space in your vehicle for other bikes and riders. Don't show up with a full vehicle and expect to be included in the shuttle. We don't start at the top, so there will still be plenty of climbing before we get to the downhill (we get one third of the climbing double the cross country and downhill this way). __ (Adventure Pass required for parking) ^^ For trail closure information contact Cleveland National Forest - Mt.
