__ (Adventure Pass required for parking) ^^

This is a very fun and challenging ride.  It is technical with a couple of clicks on the scar-o-meter.  You should be an aggressive intermediate or advanced rider to do this one.  But if you like a very scenic ride with it's share of thrills you gotta do it.

You can do this ride as an up and back or shuttle it.  We will meet at the lower trailhead either way.  Our group rides will do it as and up and back unless noted otherwise.

Directions

Meet at the lower trailhead - Take Interstate 5 north and exit Highway 74 exit, (Ortega Hwy, San Juan Capistrano).  Drive east 12.9 miles and turn left on the dirt road at the Lazy W Ranch Camp sign.  Drive 0.7 mile and park in the lower trailhead parking area.

To make this a shuttle ride - When we shuttle the ride you need to show up with extra space available in your vehicle for other riders and bikes.  Don't show up with a full vehicle and expect to be included in the shuttle.  We will drop half of the vehicles at the lower trailhead and drive back out to 74.  Turn left and continue east 9.5 miles.  Turn left at the Majestic Pines / Los Pinos Camp sign.  Follow this road for 1.7 miles until it ends at a tee junction. Turn right and continue 0.7 miles to a small parking area on the left by the upper trailhead.

Special Note

Due to it's epic nature this ride should only be done by advanced riders.  There will be no general announcement made for the rides I lead here.  They are open to advanced riders who have ridden with our group for awhile.
