This is a fun loop around Goddard Ranch and an out and back to Santee.  It is moderately technical because of ruts and cobbles.

Directions

New Meeting Spot for the Santee Side (Meet here unless posted otherwise) - We can no longer park in the dirt lot at the corner of Medina so until further notice meet at West Hills Park.  Take 52 East and exit at Mast.  Turn left and drive past the first traffic signal.  Continue up hill and turn right into the entrance for West Hills Park (just before high school).  The Trailhead is across the street about 50 feet before the signal for Medina Drive (farther up Mast past the high school).

Poway Side - Take I-15 to Poway Road and go east.  Drive approximately 4.5 miles and turn right onto Garden Road (Poway Road makes a sharp left here, Garden continues straight east).  Drive 1 mile and turn right on Sycamore Canyon Road.  Drive approximately 2.4 miles and park in dirt lot at the end of the road.  (Thomas Bros 1191 C6)
