Ok, after turning 3/4 of a quart of filler into dust, I can call this side done.  I had to fill in several slight indentions on the panel between the trunk opening and the cockpit where the hardtop had worked its way into the lead filler a bit.  The bottom right picture shows the completed quarter with a fresh coat of 2K primer surfacer.  It turned out great!!   Time to get serious and move to the rear panel.
