Hwarrnuh (pronounced -Wor-New-) was born on the eve of a battle between 2
famous Wookiees. Both of these Wookiees lost their lives in that battle.
One was known for his valor and courage in the face of overwhelming odds,
the other for his bloodlust and berserker rages. It is said that the
spirits of both of these Wookiees inhabit Hwarrnuh's body. His father
noticed both of these kinds of traits in him at an early age(60 standard
years).
His father raised him in the ways of the Wookiee Rangers. They spent a
lot of their time down in the lower levels of Kashyyyk, below Rwookrrorro.
Countless times, they have either stopped rampaging horrors from the deeps
from attacking the city or joined in the defense of the city.
Hwarrnuh's father was very proud of him and the skills that he learned.
He also feared for him because of the berserker rages that appeared in him
from big battles. Luckily, Hwarrnuh developed wanderlust not long after he
completed his Hrrtayyk (coming of age ceremony). His father gave him
enough currency to start out and Hwarrnuh set out upon a great adventure.
20 years later, he was traveling on Nar Shaddaa, when he was accosted
by a group of alien hating humans. He fought valiantly, but the numbers
were to great. Just about as one of the thugs was about to shove a force
pike in Hwarrnuh's back, a mysterious stranger appeared. This figure in a
type of armor that Hwarrnuh had never seen saved his life at the last
second and helped him finish off the thugs.
The figure was a female human from the planet of Concord Dawn by the
name of Vera Cava. Hwarrnuh swore a life debt to her at the end of the
battle and they started traveling together. It turns out she was a bounty
hunter and he lent his considerable tracking and battle skills to her
hunts. They slowly made a name for themselves in the bounty hunter guild
and in Jabba's organization.
5 years down the line, they were returning from a trip after dropping
off a bounty and collecting the reward. As they came out of hyperspace
near Tatooine, their ship was attacked and disabled by a large group of
pirates. When they were boarded, there was a bloody battle. The pirates
lost many of their number, but eventually captured Hwarrnuh and Vera Cava.
It turned out that one of her previous bounties had escaped Imperial
imprisonment and wanted her as a trophy. They put her in a weird-looking
casket that put her in a state of suspended animation and took her. They
left Hwarrnuh in the scuttled ship to die. He swore that he would get his
partner back and revenge on those that took her. Through force of will, he
managed to stay alive until he was rescued by a passing Imperial shuttle.
The imperials inspected his ship and questioned him thoroughly. The
couldn't find any signs of the rebellion and deemed him to fierce to
capture as a slave. They gave him enough credits and sent him on down to
Mos Espa.
He made his way eventually to Jabba's palace. Once there, he inquired
information about the pirates or who the previous bounty was. The only
information Jabba could give him was that Borvo the Hutt might have
dealing with the pirates. He thanked Jabba, for he had been good to him in
the past and set about making enough money to get to Naboo.
He went to Mos Eisley and started doing odd jobs to make enough money
to travel to Naboo and buy himself the equipment he needed. He made a new
friend at this time by the name of Vade. They both had some adventures
together and made their way to Naboo. They parted ways on Naboo, but still
have adventures together every now and then.
He went to see Borvo at once. Borvo said that he had information, but
it would cost him a ton of credits. This made Hwarrnuh angry, but he had
to do this right otherwise, he would lose the only lead he had. He
starting looking for ways to make the money needed, but it was hard being
that there was a big Imperial population on Naboo.
He ran into a Wookiee by the name of Na-Weobo while he was doing a
minor job and found out about a city being built by Wookiees on Naboo. The
city was named in the honor of the capitol city on Kashyyyk. New
Rwookrrorro it was called. He followed Na-Weobo and seen many of his race
there and he decided that he would make a base of operations there. He got
to know many of these Wookiees and they became his new honor family. He
hunts with them often and starting saving up the cash he needed to buy the
information from Borvo.
Eventually, he saved the cash, and Borvo was forced to give him the
information that he sought. He had to go and see Huff Darklighter back on
Tatooine. Huff was the go between with the pirates. So he made his way
there and had to do some things to get in good graces with Huff
Darklighter. It turned out that Huff was using the pirates as smugglers
for the rebellion. Huff informed him that the pirates were caught
smuggling and destroyed by the empire.
Hwarrnuh's heart sunk like a stone in the middle of the oceans on Mon
Calamari. Huff said to not give up hope, for the rebellion might be able
to ascertain the identity of the former bounty. He also told Hwarrnuh
about the imprisonment of his homeworld by the Imperials and the
enslavement of this race. This boiled Hwarrnuh's blood, but he had more
important things to worry about. He had to honor the life debt, and time
was growing short in his mind. He asked Huff how to join the rebellion,
and set off at once.
Now he fights alongside the rebels, some of which are his kinsman from
New Rwookrrorro. He still seeks information about the whereabouts of his
partners captor. He is finding it harder and harder to control his
berserker rages in battle. His companions are starting see this and some
of them are helping him seek the information that he needs in hopes of
calming him back down. He enjoys working towards a free Kashyyyk, but deep
in his soul, he is hurting.
