Located in the same parking lot and strip mall as the
Goodtimes Bar and Grill
The
Liberace Museum, at the Liberace Plaza on East Tropicana remains one
of the most popular attractions in Las Vegas. Eighteen of Liberace's
pianos are found there including Chopin's Pleyel. Several of his
fabulous automobiles and many of his costumes and jewelry are also
housed there.
We’ve always loved
the Liberace Museum. Not because of some deep greater meaning behind
the rhinestone covered exhibits (or the entertainer himself for that
matter), but simply because more than just about anything else in
Vegas, this place screams Vegas! Come on! An entire museum devoted
to the flash and crass that was Liberace?! In a town that delights
in flash and crass? It don’t get no better than that folks

Lake Mead and the Gay Nude Beach
It's only 30 min. away. There are several way's
to get to the beach. I'm going to give you the easiest one, then
provide some links so you can help yourself. Take Lake Mead Blvd
east, from east Las Vegas (You can get to Lake Mead Blvd from I-15)
Take it all the way up the hill going through Sunrise Mountain until
you come to a stop sign. Turn left going towards Overton. 4.8 miles.
You better clock it!
Look for mile marker 8.0Rd. and turn right on to
the gravel road, you'll see some dumpsters. Keep on the dirt road
taking every left when you come to a fork. Park your car to the left
at the end of the road. You'll see some trails starting down the
parking lot then proceeding up the hill to the other side. It's
about a ten minute walk, make sure to leave your clothes on till you
get there. It's a $200.00 fine if you're caught! When you're there
Strip down and soak up the sun. Bring plenty of water, it's hot! And
enjoy the bushes. There's a $5.00 entrance fee to the park for each
car. Printer
