Lake Mead and the Gay Nude Beach is only 30 min. away. There are several way's to get to the beach. I'm going to give you the easiest one, then provide some links so you can help yourself. Take Lake Mead Blvd from East Las Vegas (You can get to Lake Mead Blvd from I-15) Take it all the way up the hill going through Sunrise Mountain until you come to a stop sign. Turn left going towards Overton. 4.8 miles. You better clock it!

 Look for mile marker 8.0Rd. and turn right on to the gravel road, you'll see some dumpsters. Keep on the dirt road taking every left when you come to a fork. Park you car to the left at the end of the road. You'll see some trails starting down the parking lot then proceeding up the hill to the other side. It's about a ten minute walk, make sure to leave you clothes on till you get there. It's a $200.00 fine if your caught! When your there Strip down and soak up the sun. Bring plenty of water, it's hot! And enjoy the bushes. There's a $5.00 entrance fee to the park for each car.
