What is the Online Dune Encylopedia

This was created as my final project in my Intro-To-Web class. I have moved it to a permanant web server and will update it if there's interest and/or as I have time. There doesn't seem to be any Dune Encyclopedias that are accurate to the Herbert-Anderson texts, and nothing of this sort that is on-line.

I am not making any money from the Online Dune Encyclopedia. If someone wants to sue me for all the money I get from the ODE, I'll tell you it's a real round number and single-digit. If there is a popup or anything, it isn't something I put here!

Is this site official?

This site is in no way endorsed, viewed, or even considered (as far as I know!) by the people who actually have the copyrights for Dune (The Herbert Limited Trust, I think). And the probability is that thirty seconds after they become aware of it, I'll get a letter from a lawyer threatening my continued ability to provide for my children if I don't drop the site immediately. And that, as they say, will be that.
