Dolch Words

Dolch Words are the 220 most frequently found words in books that children read. Easy recognition of these words will help children's reading fluency, which is necessary for comprehension. A solid knowledge of these words will also help a child feel confident in his or her reading.

You may want to print out one or more lists and help your child make flash cards and practice the words.
