The Gulf Coast Bluegrass Music Association (GCBMA) is a non-profit organization which was started in Pace, Florida, in 1993 to bring more bluegrass music to northwest Florida and southern Alabama. Our association sponsors music festivals and concerts featuring local, regional, and national bluegrass performers. We also present in January or February our Annual Bluegrass Music Competitions and contribute to a music scholarship at Pensacola Junior College. We currently have over 500 members including 25 member bands (listed below). We publish a monthly newsletter -
"Bluegrass Notes".
