It is my privilege and pleasure to be Miss Deaf Rhode Island. I came to this country and the State of Rhode Island 8 years ago and I have been a U.S. citizen for 2 years. I live in Jamestown and work with the disabled at the Corliss Institute in Warren. Being Deaf is difficult but I try and keep a positive attitude and always try my best. Love, Gemma
