Day 6 - Water Canyon to (just past) the Confluence
Pretty easy to see where the main current flow is. Water rising by the second. Sandbar where a party of 5 stayed downriver from me at Water Canyon was completely underwater by the time I finished exploring the canyon. If they had dayhiked as long as I had, would have lost their gear. I was having panic attacks about the boat as it was not anchored for squat. Water still a couple of feet from reaching it when I came down. Sweating bullets. If I had not pulled it higher that one last time, and pointed it upstream instead of sidewise, would have been long gone.
