Keep your eyes peeled for more information on OctoberQuest coming soon. Clear your calendar for October 12-13 and plan to spend the weekend at Fountainhead. We have lots planned and hope you can make it. The event is open to all geocachers of all ages. Hopefully our central location will being a few visitors from Tulsa, OKC, Arkansas, Texas, Missouri and Kansas.

You can come for both days or just one day. You can even come down on Friday if you like, but the event starts on the 12th. I'll have more information at the next Tulsa meeting in September. If you would like to help with the event please contact me and I'll fill you in. There will be no October meeting in Tulsa as it will be held here. I hope all of you can make it.

I had set up a message board but the advertising on that board is a little ridiculous. So I have set up a Yahoo! groups message board instead. I invite everyone to join here.

I've got two new caches out in the Tulsa area. This one I'm pretty proud of, a lot of work went into getting this one created. With special thanks to HipsterDoofus for getting the idea to me. The UHF Tulsa Tour!

Then there is a small very easy one here. The Cook-Out Cache. Bring the chips and charcoal and enjoy this nice little quiet Tulsa park.

During the last meeting we discussed using the GPS to map out trails. Crazy Crow said the request was brought up by a few State Park officials. The program I spoke about can be downloaded at GPS TrackMaker.
