Walter, watching TV, ignored him.
"You should rescue Scully. You two could finish out a long, uncomplicated life together." Mulder nodded his head, seeing it all in his mind. "You could be normal," he whispered.
"Sir, you should rescue Mulder." Scully felt compelled to rebut her partner's logic. "Otherwise the last thing he'd see before he died would be the two of us, abandoning him."
Walter hit the remote, turned off the TV, and stood. "Agents, I'm going to bed. Why don't BOTH OF YOU come with me?"
