The Council is located at the corner of Crescent View Ave. and Viola Ave. in Riverside R.I..

About our Council

Bishop Wm. Hickey Counsel was chartered in 1953 through the efforts of men from 3 parishes
(Holy Angles, St.Luke's, and St Brendan's) in the towns of Barrington and East Providence R.I..

The Council is named after the Most Reverend Bishop Wm. A Hickey the third Bishop of the of
the Diocese of Providence. He was Bishop of the Diocese of Providence for 12 years.

Bishop Wm. Hickey Council works closely with the Community and the 3 parishes in the 2 towns
providing funds for various parish projects. Our Council members are also active in their own parish activities.
