Moin

Artist:
Moin H Shah
Style: Modern Expressionist

Moin H Shah is from Pakistan and lives at Karachi. He finds expressing himself in expressionist style very meaningful. His work has an unusual color selection, creating figurative and other art forms giving his paintings, a unique touch and aura. Moin is a self taught artist and says that he has not consciously or unconsciously adopted the style of any other artist. This gives his work freshness, a quality appreciated by collectors of his much sought after paintings. Some of his most highly regarded artworks are "Moon in my Room", "Light by Twilight", "People out at nite" , "a nite out",  "waterfront"  & " Travellers".

Here is what some critics have said about Moin Shah's works.

NYArts Magazine ....Moin H Shah's work stands strong among today's contemporary art and its physical distance to the capitals of the western world isn't necessarily a disadvantage but a point worth noting. Perhaps sometime in the near future the galleries and collectors will recognize the tremendous potential in art from countries beyond US and Europe.

" Moin has some very expressive, emotionally charged works online. Kind of like Matisse meets German expressionism, yet still very original. Excellent! "
