Lifelong learning includes Epsilon Sigma Omicron (ESO), a structured reading program for learning and self-improvement; supporting libraries; and providing scholarships. This Literacy Program includes adult literacy, family literacy, youth literacy and tutoring. Each community is different and assesses their needs and brainstorm ways to help their community. Use your GFWC Club Manual as a valuable resource. Know that your State Chairman will be there to help you!

NEBRASKA LEADERSHIP SEMINAR, INC.
Information letters for next year will be to the schools in October/November. Clubs should contact their school guidance counselor in late October; early November and encourage them to choose and register a student. All registration is done on-line. Clubs are also encouraged to offer to pay all or part, of the $100.00 fee. The donation should go directly to NLS with a form or at least a note with the name of the student and the school they are sponsoring. Donations can be mailed to: NLS, P. O. Box 5450, Lincoln, NE 68805-0054. Clubs may send small donations to NLS and it will be used for scholarships for students that may not be able to find a sponsor. This really is a great seminar and we need to encourage more schools to get involved.
