The HELPING HANDS objective is to educate members and others about organizations that improve the lives of those in need and to provide opportunities to offer support. Two new programs have been added this administration—East Seals and Heavenly Hats in addition to Canine Companions for Independence, Habitat for Humanity International, March of Dimes and National Organization on Disability.

The objective of the DOLLARS and SENSE Program is to educate members about the value of the need for retirement planning and to provide valuable financial information regarding checking credit, giving wisely, identity theft and social security.

WOMEN’S HEALTH objective is to educate members and others about the most prevalent medical problems affecting women today—shingles, stroke, heart disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, Diabetes, Woman and Cancer—and encourage women to adopt proven methods for optimizing their own physical health and quality of life.

Be sure to check the Yellow Pages of the GFWC Club Manual for more information and sources of program materials. Remember to report. Be sure to tell me all about your projective—you may be eligible for an award!!!
