The objective for ‘Reaching Out Internationally’ is to educate members and others about world needs and provide opportunities to offer support. There are many projects listed in the purple section of the GFWC Club Manual.

CARE, PLAN USA (formally Childreach), CURE INTERNATIONAL, and HEIFER PROJECT INTERNATIONAL are just a few. CLOWNS WITHOUT BORDERS work to spread happiness and positive social change all over the world where children live in crisis--from refugee camps to conflict zones. OPERATION SMILE continues to provide reconstructive surgery to children and adults in developing countries. Check the manual to find more information on these and other projects. There are some awards to work for. More information can be found in the resources list.

There is also the UNITED NATIONS PROGRAM for you to use. This chairman has videos for you to borrow on UNICEF, HEIFER INTERNATIONAL and OPERATION SMILE. More will be ordered as they become available. The only expense for clubs is the return postage.
