Appraisal Hours: The time necessary for the Appraiser(s) to travel, examine, evaluate, and value all items to be included in the Report. The Report consists of a cover letter, an itemized list of the property with values, the Appraiser(s) qualifications and photographs of the appraised items as well as any limiting qualifications.
Research Hours: The time necessary for the Appraiser(s) to identify marks and labels, verify dates, consult other experts if necessary, and evaluate the items to be included in the Report.
Verbal Consultation Hours: The time necessary for the Appraiser to travel, examine, evaluate, and express an informed opinion in person or on the telephone. A consultation is NOT an appraisal and is not to be construed as such.

Expert Witness Hours: The time necessary to do the appraisal or research for legal needs or actively waiting, or testifying in defense of the appraiser's valuation conclusions. There is a non-refundable $750.00 deposit required for preparation for expert witness work that is applied to the total bill.

Estate appraisal reports have been designed to follow the guidelines set forth by the I.R.C. Section 20.2031-1(b) for reporting personal tangible property under Federal Estate Tax Return #706, Schedule F.
Donation appraisal reports have been designed to follow the guidelines set forth by the I.R.C. Temporary Regulations Section 1.170A-1(c)(2) for reporting non-cash charitable contributions for values in excess of $5,000.00. Donation appraisals must be completed within 60 days prior to the date of contribution of the property and must be received by the donor before the due date (including extensions) of the return on which the deduction is first claimed.
