Alfred Octavius Kirby                       1843-1919
Alfred was born about 1843, the son of George Goldsmith Kirby and Harriet Sarah ?, in London. He was admitted to Trinity Hall college, Cambridge, at age 22, on August 6, 1863. He earned his B.A. in 1867, and M.A. in 1871 as a Solicitor. He practiced in London in the firm of Gedge, Kirby and Millitt, Parliamentary Agents.
