Denis Gordon de Courcy Drury       1921-
Denis was born on 16 May 1921, the only child of George Gordon de Courcy Drury and Grace Kathleen Gmelin, at Christchurch, New Zealand. He served with the Honourable Artillery Company in India during World War 2. He was educated at Wells Cathedral School in Somerset and Magdalen College School in Oxford. He married Ruth Elizabeth Johnston.
