Rev. Henry Muex Roxby                     1832-1900
Henry was born on 18 May 1832, as Henry Muex Maude, the son of Rev. Henry Roxby Maude and Jane Meux, at Arkendale, Yorkshire. On 3 February 1837 the family name was changed from Maude to Roxby.
He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge, entering in 1850. He earned his B.A. in 1855; M.A. in 1860; was ordained Deacon in 1856; Priest in 1857. He was Curate of Wellingborough, Northants., 1856-1868, Vicar of Apethorpe, 1868-1875, Vicar of Buckden, Hunts., 1875-1900.

Caroline was born about 1841, the daughter of Henry William Hewlett and Octavia Charlotte Gay, at Clapham, Surrey.
