Hugh Watson Channer 1878-1948 Hugh was born on 23 February 1878, the son of George Nicolas Channer and Annie Isabella Watson, at Dharmsala, West Bengal, India. Just a few months after his marriage, he was seriously wounded in both legs and the chest at Gallipoli. Emily May Georgine Cornet Emily was the daughter of Laurent Cornet.
