John Warren                                          1767-1838
John was born about 1767, the fifth son of Richard Warren and Elizabeth Shaw. He entered Jesus College, Cambridge, at Easter.1786, obtained his B.A. in 1789, M.A. in 1793. He became a priest on 10 July 1791, was Dean of Bangor from 1793 to his death in 1838, He was also Chancellor of Bangor diocese 1823 to 1838 He married in 1795, Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas Crooke, of Preston, Lancashire.
